Help us make camp a reality for every 4th and 5th grader in Washtenaw County who qualifies for the National School Lunch Program: foster children, homeless children and children in low-income families.

This seasonal opportunity takes place between April 15 and August 15. Liaisons answer family's questions, help them fill out forms, remind them of deadlines and make sure their child has everything he or she needs for camp. We provide a full scholarship for 2 years in a row, a duffel and sleeping bag, and a gift card for camp clothes if requested.

Each liaison is responsible for 4 to 6 families. Liaisons must have good verbal communication skills and excellent skill in attending to detail.

The time commitment is about 2 hours every week until the children have gone to camp,
