An ombudsman advocates for the rights of residents of long-term care facilities. He/she visits with the residents, observes the activities and environment, receives and investigates complaints and concerns, and works to resolve those issues on behalf of the residents. Ombudsmen are the voices for those elders who don't or can't speak up for themselves.

Description

We offer in-home support services such as home-delivered meals, homemaker services, and family caregiver respite. We also offer community support services like adult protection services, long-term care ombudsmen and congregate meals. We are the area's Aging and Disability Resource Center.
