Join the Disaster Fireline Dispatch team.
"Hello, this is the American Red Cross. What is your disaster?" You could be the person to take the incoming call from the fire department or other agency about a family affected by a home, apartment fire, flood or other disaster and be the one to dispatch the information to the disaster action team. You would then track the team as it responds to the call and provide backup support from the office as needed. Volunteers are needed during regular office hours 8:00 am-4:00 pm Monday through Friday.
