Compassionate Hands

Seeking Massage Therapy to visit our Dignity Hospice Patients. If you are interested in sharing your skills and giving back to people at the end of life, we are looking for your help. If you are interested in volunteering and have your massage therapist license please reach out, we can begin the onboarding process as it always takes some time to get the paperwork and training completed.

Our vibrant, personalized hospice company, Dignity Hospice of Colorado, is looking for Medically Trained LMT's to provide care to our patients at the facilities and home locations. We offer extensive training in hospice care, in addition to the skill you bring as a Volunteer Massage Therapist. Reach out, we would love to hear from you.

To start the training process we do background checks, CPR and TB tests are required (we do these in office), and in the fall require the Flu shot. The COVID vaccine is encouraged. We do require computer knowlege as we write our visit notes in our medical EMR. Dignity has on-going continuing education that is on line that is requried of both staff and volunteers.

Opportunities are available in the Front Range of Denver, Castle Rock, Boulder, Longmont, Loveland, Brighton, Windsor and Ft. Collins. The Volunteer Coordinator will match you with hospice patients near your home or work so that it's convenient for you. Times and frequency of visits are flexible to meet your needs. Our Patients are all seniors mostly between the ages of 70-100. The Dignity Patients reside in Skilled Nursing, Assisted Senior Living Residences, and private homes.

Please reach out if this is an opportunity you have been looking for. Volunteers are the heart of hospice and we need you. Thank you.
