Description

Make a difference in the life of a foster child by being a mentor. These children live in either therapeutic or standard long-term foster care homes. While in the foster care system, it is critical for these children to have a stable, positive person in their lives.

These children reside in foster care homes all over the city of Jacksonville.

Duties include: Weekly outing doing a positive activity with the child around the city of Jacksonville; recognizing significant events in the child's life to include birthdays, good grades, and other holidays; and providing a support system while the child is in the foster care system. Our mentors inspire children in foster care to believe in themselves and in a positive future.

At this time, we are only seeking male mentors for this program. Thank you for your interest.
