GLA volunteer tutors help adult students prepare for the GED, Career Readiness Assessment or literacy skills.
After observing classes and participating in an volunteer orientation/training workshop, tutors are matched with a small to mid-size group of students in a particular subject area. Some 1-on-1 opportunities may be available.
Tutor commitment is 1.5 hours a week/one day a week. The center offers classes in the mornings (Mon-Thurs 9:00am - 12:00pm) and evenings (Tues & Thurs 5:00pm - 8:00pm)
