Mission Statement
Areyvut empowers Jewish youth with the experiences that will enable them to infuse their lives with the core Jewish values of chesed (kindness), tzedakah (charity) and tikkun olam (social justice). Recognizing the potential significance of the Bar/Bat Mitzvah celebration in the lives of Jewish preteens, Areyvut is committed to providing young men and women with innovative opportunities to enhance their Bar or Bat Mitzvah celebration by actively participating in challenging, community-based projects.
