Are you an immigrant or refugee?

Did you grow up going between your culture at home and American culture at school and in the community?

OR did you have this experience as an adult?

BECOME A MENTOR and support a young person going through this experience!

The Go-Betweener mentoring program matches immigrant and refugee youth (ages 5-19) with adult mentors who share 3 important characteristics with them:

1. they are also 1st or 2nd generation immigrants or refugees

2. they are from the same (or similar) culture

3. they speak the same home language

This way, mentors are truly able to relate to the experiences their young mentees are going through. Mentors are trusted friends and positive role models who provide much-needed support and guidance.

**This is a community based mentoring program - mentors and mentees meet outside of the Culture Connect office according to their own scheduled plans.
