We are seeking one-on-one tutors for high school age students. This is part of an after school program and is in a very diverse setting. The students are here from about three until five or when parents pick up their children. However, some students' participation is limited due to transportation barriers. In certain situations we find it best to arrange for the tutor to meet with the student in the high school counselling office or library after school. In some cases, depending on extra-curricular involvement, tutors are able to meet with students during their free periods at school. We ask for at least a three month commitment so that you and the student can bond and build a trust with each other. Not only will the student feel better when they understand how to master the math problem or learn to love reading. But you will feel better as well knowing that without you it might not have happened.

Description
Creative Visions offers opportunities to youth and young adults to develop new attitudes and behaviors, coupled with employment opportunities so our youth have the opportunity to live life with dignity, integrity, self-esteem, and honor and be independent of the welfare system in Iowa.
Creative Visions has been in the local community for the last ten years and has provided services to at least 4,000 individuals. Creative Visions continues to develop programming that addresses the needs of our clientele.
