If you enjoy working in a friendly, social environment and want to help save lives, the Red Cross Blood Services wants you! Greet and serve refreshments to donors at blood drives in and near Manassas. Training provided at an American Red Cross office in your area. We are looking for people who have daytime/weekday availability and can volunteer for a minimum of two blood drives a month. Dates, locations and times of blood drives vary.

Description
The American Red Cross was founded over 100 years ago by Clara Barton with the purpose of relieving human suffering. Today the nonprofit organization relies on the support of volunteer staff, who outnumber paid staff 94 to 1, to continue its humanitarian work. Saving lives by providing safe blood products to hospitals is just one of the many ways in which the Red Cross continues to meet the needs of the community.
