Description
Make a lasting contribution by joining the St. James ESL Advisory Board. The board works hard and makes a real and significant difference for the refugees and immigrants we serve. As an ESL Advisory Board Member, you will help with planning, program oversight, fundraising, continuous improvement efforts, and policies. This is a two-year commitment to attend monthly meetings, planning sessions, and some work between meetings.
The Advisory Board meets on the third Tuesday each month, from 6 PM to 7:30 PM.
The St. James ESL Program is a non-sectarian, volunteer and community-based organization that provides free English instruction to adult refugees and low-income immigrants in Seattle and King County.
Skills
We are looking for individuals from refugee and immigrant families, people with expertise in public relations or refugee resettlement, or simply a desire to make a difference!
