Imagine being a person who has a disability or a low income senior who has been homeless. One day you are finally given a second chance at having your apartment with heat, lights and warm running water, but you can't move in because their isn't anyone available to help you!
Many individuals in Pierce County are facing this dilemma every day. We need your help. Do you have a truck? Are you able to lift boxes and small furniture? If so, would you be willing to donate one day a month to make a difference in the lives of others?

Description
Volunteer Services provides low-income adults (anyone 18 years old or older) who have temporary or permanent functional disabilities, including those associated with aging. The people we serve can not afford to purchase the kinds of service we provide, do not qualify for assistance from other sources and do not have family or friends available to help them. Service is provided on an as-volunteers-are-available basis. There are never any fees for the services provided.
