San Antonio Museum of Art Visitor Services Volunteers (VSV) are extremely important to the Museum's success! Our VSV do anything from greeting and directing visitors to helping artists at special events. Visitor Services Volunteers provide information about the Museum’s collections, exhibitions, and programming, as well as general Museum information.
We request that volunteers in this program work at least 8 hours per month and encourage them to better their knowledge of the Museum’s permanent collection and special exhibitions. Applicants must be enthusiastic, comfortable talking to visitors, and interested in art and history. Sound like you?

Description
The San Antonio Museum of Art received accreditation from the American Alliance of Museums on November 6, 2000. The Museum conducts more than 1,000 guided tours annually and provides approximately 475 educational programs each year. Programs include lectures, concerts, films, children’s workshops, scholarly symposia, family art activities and special exhibitions.
