DAPS offers free exercise and speech classes to those affected by Parkinson's disease at this location on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Classes are led by an instructor and the Facilitator's role is:
- Keep record of class attendance
- Set up necessary class supplies (light hand weights, balls, etc.)
- Ensure participants complete necessary paperwork
This is a great opportunity to meet people and help those affected by Parkinson's disease. This is a group exercise class that meets from 10:30 am to 11:30 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays and a speech class that meets on Tuesdays from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. Volunteer would need to arrive at 10 am on both days.
