Person with passion for our mission to join Nortwoods Humane Society Board of Directors. Northwoods is a thriving non-profit organization with a $250,000 annual budget. We rely on volunteers with expertise in business to make sure we have the ability to continue our mission to help companion animals in need. Responsibilities include: Advocate our mission to others, assistn in planning and implementing fundraising strategies, actively participate in monthly board meetings, suggest and help implement new ideas.

Caring for animals in need. The homeless, strays, abused, neglected, lost. Heal them, love them, help them find a home
Description
We are a non-profit animal humane society serving Chisago County and surrounding communities since 1970. Last year we adopted over 1,000 animals & helped many others be returned to their owners. Northwoods is a limited admissions facility and we do not put a limit on any animal's stay at our facility; we are dedicated to finding them each a new home. Every animal is spayed/neutered before being made available for adoption.
