Description
Do you love working with kids? Do you miss the craft projects, games, and worksheets of your school days? Volunteer at Homework Help! Our youth are a lot of fun and love coming to Homework Help, so you're guaranteed to have a good time if you volunteer with us! An average shift at Homework Help might include:
- Providing homework assistance to students.
- Playing educational games or engaging youth in craft projects.
- Assisting adult and youth residents with computers, as needed.
- Overseeing computer use to ensure that resource room policies are being followed.
Flexible schedule including afternoons and evenings. Minimum volunteer commitment is two, two-hour shifts per month (four hours per month). This opportunity is available at three different affordable-housing residences in the downtown and Phillips areas of Minneapolis.
