Hey there volunteers!
Are you looking to get outdoors this summer for some climbing, canoeing & overnight Trips? Interested in indoor rock climbing? Do you like working with people with disabilities?
If so, SPLORE is the place you need to be. We will be running full swing from May to October working within the public school special education classrooms to get kids outdoors and active. The program is designed to promote inclusion and integration of special education and general education students in elementary schools in the valley.
SPLORE programs are usually 5 hours in length and are held monday through saturday. You can check out our calendar at www.splore.org.

Description
Splore is a Utah based non-profit organization that specializes in adaptive adventures. Our adventures include white water rafting, canoeing, rock climbing, cross-country skiing and other adaptive recreation activities. The setting for all of our programs is Utah's magnificent outdoors.
Splore ran its first accessible rafting program during the summer of 1977 and for more than 30 years, has served over 40,000 individuals with disabilities including volunteers, care providers, friends and family members. These adventure experiences act as a catalyst towards greater independence, well being and self esteem.
