Central Indiana Counties - Gentiva Hospice - Volunteers Needed for Patient Support

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Kindred Hospice - Indianapolis South

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
  • 155 people are interested

Gentiva Hospice needs volunteers for patients in Central Indiana Counties such as Bartholomew, Boone, Brown, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Madison, Marion, Monroe, Morgan, Putnam and Shelby.

Gentiva Hospice invites you to "Come and Be a Person's Last Best Friend."

A hospice patient's life expectancy is 6 months or less. They may need someone to reflect and help them with life review, to assure them that their life was full and productive. A friend who may be willing to laugh over life's follies or cry over lost dreams. You may be the friend who will care enough to sit quietly with them, when they no longer have the energy to talk. As a patient knowing you are dying, is difficult enough. But to die alone is not acceptable. Call to become a person's last best friend. You will make a difference!
