As a Childcare Assistant you will provide supervision and structure for the children in our shelter.
You will supervise the children placed in our state licensed childcare facility while their parent takes advantage of the FREE services we provide.
Opportunities are available to assist with field trips, carnivals, festivals or birthday celebrations.
Shifts are available Monday through Thursday, 7:30am to 8pm, and Friday, 7:30am - 6pm.

Description
Bay Area Turning Point (BATP) began as a grassroots effort formed by volunteers in direct response to a United Way Assessment that identified a widespread need in the Bay Area for aid to victims of physical crime (domestic violence, child abuse, child sexual abuse, elder abuse, incest, rape, threats, sexual harassment, date rape and dating violence). Five years later, a newly constructed, debt-free shelter facility opened its doors to the Bay Area offering compassion, a safe haven to heal and provide essential services.
