HorseSisters began in 1998 with the rescue of a Clydesdale destined for slaughter. Suddenly word got out that we were helping horses in need. We would attempt to retrain them and if possible, adopted them out to families with disabled children. We began offering therapeutic riding soon after for children and adults and added "driving" the horses in 2000. We compete in challenge shows and with Special Olympics and currently have 14 horses, 1 donkey, 8 chickens, & 1 potbelly pig in our care.

Description
Rescuing horses since 1998 in Florida, this 501(c)(3) charity's volunteers rehabilitate, retrain & re-home them. Some go on to provide therapeutic services at our "Common Sense Ranch" for differently-abled children & adults, & able-bodied camps & lessons. We also support our endeavors with trail rides, & horse drawn services, such as weddings, wagon rides, funerals, parades/events & lessons. Come join us!
