Volunteer Pet Partner teams are needed at Purdy Elementary, Discovery Elementary, Peninsula High School, Key Peninsula Middle School and Goodman Middle School.
The volunteer pet teams will help early readers boost literacy and gain confidence in their reading skills. This program will meet once a week for one hour. The pet teams must be certified with the national Pet Partner Program in order to qualify.

Communities In Schools of Peninsula (CISP) serves children and families residing within the boundaries of Peninsula School District (Key Peninsula/Gig Harbor). CISP partners with the schools and local community agencies to provide programs and services that alleviate the barriers impeding the learning of our youth.
