Help, I am home bound and can not go to the grocery store anymore. Twice a month I need someone to shop for groceries from a list. I provide the list, name of the store and cash. I will not call you at home, I will only call the nice folks at Volunteer Chore when I need groceries. The staff will call you to see if you're available. I can get frozen meals delivered, but I need fresh fruits and vegetables and a few others things. VCS provides assistance to those who cannot afford to pay for the kinds of services we provide, do not qualify for assistance elsewhere, or do not have family and friends available to help them. Volunteer privacy is protected.

Description
Volunteer Services provides low-income adults (anyone 18 years old or older) who have temporary or permanent functional disabilities, including those associated with aging. The people we serve can not afford to purchase the kinds of service we provide, do not qualify for assistance from other sources and do not have family or friends available to help them. Service is provided on an as-volunteers-are-available basis. There are never any fees for the services provided.
