Craft volunteers make home-sewn items such as Figett blankets and aprons,and lap blankets. Knitted items such as hats, and footies Other items might include patriotic items for veterans, flower pots and other items. These crafts bring great joy to the patients and families who receive them. Crafts can be made in the volunteer's home.
New craft ideas are welcome and creativity is a plus.
This opportunity is ideal for Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Youth Groups and Senior groups.

Description
Volunteers are the heart of VITAS, providing friendly, non-medical patient and family care and offering support services in the office, using their cars and from their own homes.
