We need volunteers from all over Arkansas to meet with children who live in their part of the state!
Wish Granters are trained to meet with the wish kid and family to discover, plan, and fulfill a wish. They work in teams of two or three and use resources wisely by seeking donated goods and services for each wish. Volunteers commit their time to make the wish as unique as each child and a lasting, memorable experience.
Must be 21-years-old. Best suits volunteers with creativity, energy, and clever enthusiasm. Time commitment of a Wish Granter varies, depending on the wish. Wish Granters are required to volunteer on at least 1 wish per year.
Volunteers are reimbursed for approved, documented expenses and will not be turned away due to their personal financial resources.

Description
Make-A-Wish Mid-South was founded in 1986 with the granting of Tony's wish, which was to sing on stage with Tammy Faye Baker. He and his family visited Heritage USA and his wish came true. The Mid-South chapter covers the territories of Arkansas, west Tennessee and north Mississippi.
