Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity that involves little to no prior experience, being active, and learning new skills? Volunteer on the Asheville Area Habitatconstruction site! Volunteers can expect a variety of construction tasks such as: framing, setting roof trusses, and installing shingles, windows, and siding. There will also be interior construction tasks such as: installing cabinets and trim, painting, and staining. We work year round, offer full day (8:30 am-3:30 pm) weekday and Saturday workdays, and accommodate individuals and groups (no one under 16 years old, please).
