The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disaster and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.
Description
The Marion County Red Cross offers services to people affected by disaster, services for military personnel and their families, and first aid and cpr classes. We coordinate and host blood drives throughout the area. We provide disaster education for the community, businesses, and youth, and participate in community events. We offer many opportunities for volunteers in each of these areas.
