Volunteers are needed to provide support for patients and their families during their end of life transitions. 15 hours of training is required and conducted by Hospice staff. Training will provide you with skills and tools needed for hospice volunteers. Additionally, you will receive continual support and training.. Volunteers are assigned to home patients, our ten-bed in patient unit, office help or other areas that meet your skills. you are asked to provide 4 to 6 hours of volunteer service per week and commit to at least one year of volunteer service. You must be 18 years of age or older.
