Hogar Immigrant Services, an immigrant assistance program of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Arlington, is seeking volunteers to teach English one day a week for two hours. We are now recruiting volunteers for our ESOL classes that are held at Holy Family Catholic Church in Dale City and at Our Lady of Angels Church in Woodbridge. The positions available are on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays 7pm-9pm. You only have to teach once per week!
Training and teaching materials are provided.
No experience or second language necessary.

Description
Catholic Charities, Diocese of Arlington's Newcomer Services is made up of two departments - Hogar Immigrant Services and Migration and Refugee Services.
Hogar Immigrant Services responds to the Church’s call for social justice by welcoming the stranger to this country, regardless of ethnicity, religion, nationality, or ability to pay.
Migration and Refugee Services is one of 104 national affiliates of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. Since its founding in 1975, the office has resettled and assisted over 30,000 refugees and asylees in the Northern Virginia community.
