ORGANIZATION: Chelsea Revere Winthrop Elder Services

As a Long Term Care Ombudsman you are trained and certified by the State of Massachusetts to provide support and advocate for the needs of residents in long term care facilities. Volunteer Ombudsman visit with residents on a regular basis; investigate and seek to resolve concerns on behalf of residents; provide information to residents and protect their rights; advocate for positive change in the Long Term Care system. As a Volunteer Ombudsman you have a chance to make a difference to improve the quality of care and quality of life that nursing home residents receive. This is a great opportunity for those starting out in the Human Services or Gerontology Field as well as retirees or anyone looking to make a difference in the lives of seniors. Ombudsman visit the Nursing Homes in Chelsea, Revere and Winthrop.
