Volunteer tutors are needed to work with students, 4K through high school, in schools throughout Dane County. Volunteer tutors support students one on one or in small groups assisting with reading, math or other subjects directed by the teacher. As a volunteer, you have the opportunity to share the excitement and joy of helping a child succeed. Tutors assist in creating a learning environment for students that promotes positive self-esteem, confidence and independence. Tutors generally volunteer one to two hours per week.

Description
RSVP Volunteer Programs is a free one-to-one referral service that places qualified volunteers. RSVP also partners with other agencies to identify volunteer sites. RSVP recruits, interviews, trains, and places men and women 55 and older with schools and public and private nonprofit agencies requesting service.
