Guardian Ad Litem Program - 12th Judicial Circuit - Sarasota
A Volunteer Guardian ad Litem (GAL) is an individual who is appointed by the court to advocate for children who come into the court system primarily as a result of alleged abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Volunteer GALs are individuals who respect a child's inherent right to grow up with dignity in a safe environment that meets that child's best interests.
If you become involved with the GAL Program, you are in a position to directly impact a child's life, helping to ensure the best possible outcome for their future. Please help us reach our goal to provide representation for each and every child who needs it by becoming a volunteer for the Guardian ad Litem Program.
