Companions Journeying Together is seeking a dynamic self-starter to assist with social media efforts. We are seeking an individual to volunteer from home to assist our organization in keeping supporters up to date about our organization and the topics of incarceration, parenting, reading, and literacy.

We envision this person sharing valuable content with social media community that is connected to our mission, developing graphics to enhance social media messages, and making recommendations to us on new ideas, directions, and tools for social media.

The ideal volunteer will have a firm grasp of available tools and platforms in the social media space, notably Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X/Twitter. We also seek a volunteer who possesses excellent written oral communication and interpersonal skills and are self-motivated, possess good organizational skills, and are detail-oriented. Finally, we are seeking volunteers who have experience in any of the following areas: building a social media following; strategic marketing and messaging; activating a following/developing calls-to-action for fundraising.
