Join Best Buddies Citizens, and be matched in a mutually enriching one-to-one friendship with someone with intellectual or developmental disabilities who shares your interests. This is a fun and fulfilling opportunity to promote social inclusion and respect.

Friendship Expectations -- weekly communication via phone, email, text, etc.; two visits or one prolonged in-person visit per month; commit to your Best Buddies friendship for one calendar year.
Opportunities to participate in Best Buddies social and volunteer activities are offered throughout the year.

Participation Requirements -- no special skills required. Just be a friend!'
Must be 18 years or older; complete background check to ensure safety of all participants.

Buddies are waiting --- if you are a good match in age, interests & location, your new friendship can begin soon after the initial interview process!!! Currently, there is a need for male and female peer buddies to match with others who enjoy similar activities. Opportunities exist throughout the Indianapolis area, from Greenwood to Westfield, etc., for all ages (over 18).

Opportunities are also available to form Corporate or Community Chapters if you have a group who is interested in volunteering.
