Join a great group of volunteers, staff and trustees in planning our historic house museum's 2024 events and exhibition. We're celebrating the centennial of our Lincoln Essay and Drawing Contest and other commemorations with concerts, author talks, an exhibition and a Lincoln Day celebration in May. If you're in/near Milton, MA, that's great but not necessary; we welcome volunteers who can assist onsite as well as those who can help with other tasks remotely. Previous event and exhibition management experience is helpful but not essential. Event proceeds support the museum's ongoing community, educational and preservation programs.

Inspired by the Forbes family legacy of entrepreneurship, social action and philanthropy, the Forbes House Museum fosters discourse around civic engagement and cultural awareness. Built in 1833, the Greek Revival home at 215 Adams Street in Milton has been a house museum since 1964 and a National Historic Landmark since 1966.
