There are one in seven people in the US that read at or below a third grade level. Poor reading prevents a parent from helping their child with homework, problems on the job, unemployment and lower wages. Help break this cycle by volunteering to teach residents of gloucester county to read at a higher more skilled level.
The ages of participants in need of your help are 16 to 75 years. As the saying goes" teach someone to fish and they eat for life". Teach someone to read and you help improve their life!
