ORGANIZATION: People's Resource Center

  • 40 people are interested

We need volunteers to teach computer classes in Windows, Excel, Powerpoint and other Microsoft applications. Volunteers are asked to commit to 3 hours/week (including class time and preparation), and each course lasts for seven weeks. New volunteer instructors will initially be assigned as an assistant instructor to help the lead instructor. Once they become comfortable with the class, they can become a lead instructor. PRC provides all necessary materials needed to teach the class.

Classes are taught in public buildings (e.g., churches, schools, resource centers) throughout DuPage County. Teachers are especially needed at our partner sides in Eastern DuPage County, including Westmont, Addison and Elmhurst.
