The MGH Arena is one of the nation's premiere therapeutic riding programs. The program and our committment, coupled with the resources of The Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind has put us in this unique situation. The program offers the disabled students therapeutic, competitive and recreational opportunities along with building self-esteem and a sence of accomplishment.

Mission Statement
To maximize the potential for our students well being by providing equine facilitated activities in the areas of therapy, education, sport and recreation. To enhance physical and mental skills, aid in mobilization and promote socialization and communication for the students of the Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind.
Description
Our volunteers help with many different things - sidewalking and leading horses during class and competitions; feeding, grooming, tacking, and exercising horses; working in the stables; fundraising; and helping with administrative tasks.
