Description
Become a part of Employment Connection's New American program. The program helps New Americans-mostly from Africa and Asia-to become self-sufficient.
As a mentor you will listen and talk with the New American about their goals and the adjustment to living in a new country. All mentors are expected to stay in contact with the New American at least three times a month.
Become a part of an exciting program helping an individual truly make America home.
Skills
- ability to listen: * Patient * Self-starter * Enjoys working with others. * Ability to share community resources * Wants to give the gift of self-sufficiency! * No prior experience required. * Must be at least 19 years of age.
