Description
The Children's Activity Coordinatinator creates an activity for a small group of 10-12 year olds at our Family Housing Workshops.
Formerly homeless families attend a workshop 6 times during the school year. The workshops begin with a meal and then parents attend a Parenting Workshop and the children divide into age groups and participate in art, crafts, dance, music, games, and other activities.
Each group of children has a volunteer Activity Coordinator, and other volunteers to help supervise. Staff is present to help when needed and purchase any necessary materials.
