Description
We have exciting opportunities for volunteers who want to teach computer skills (including writing, computer programming and multi-media) in our newly established computer labs. You need not be a computer expert; we are looking for individuals with enthusiasm for technology and willingness to both learn and teach.
Skills
All volunteers are required to attend the BGCMD Overview Session which includes an interview. Upon completing the session, potential candidates are then invited to attend our extensive training. The training is a 2.5 hour class on the culture, history, programming and program implementation of the Boys & Girls Club. Any volunteer 15 - 18 yrs of age would be required to sign up as a member also. The minimum age for volunteering is 15.
