Habitat for Humanity (HfH) has 2 retail outlets in Snohomish County, Lynnwood and Everett. They need Store Associates. What does that mean? It means this;

As a Volunteer Store Associate you will work with interesting people, contribute your talents and learn new skills as a member of a dedicated and fun team.

You will be trained in all areas in this position. You are not required to have construction knowledge or experience.


Core Duties:
* Accept donations
* Sorting out and pricing products
* Organizing, arranging and stocking shelves and creating displays
* Assisting customers with purchases
* Assisting senior team members with other tasks as needed.

If you have previous retail experience that's great!

Volunteer shifts are available Tuesday through Saturday, a commitment of at least one shift per week is asked of you. This is a daytime volunteer job, the store hours are 9:30-1:30, 1:30-5 and 9:30-5.

Mission Statement

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of Snohomish County matches skills/training and preferences of persons 55+ to available volunteer opportunities and promotes their voluntary service as a valuable community resource.

Description

RSVP matches personal interests, skills and lifelong experiences with non-profit public organizations at over 116 different partner agencies, including non-profits, throughout the county. Benefits of being an RSVP volunteer are: ~excess insurance coverage including Liability, Auto, and Accident. ~partial reimbursement for transporatation costs to and from volunteer stations, subject to certain regulations and limits. ~ongoing recognition and Annual Recognition Event to RSVP volunteers. The only agency tracking and reporting the volunteer activities of persons age 55 and older through the National Senior Corps, RSVP promotes retired and senior persons as viable members of the community, able to share their skills, time and experience through volunteer service.
