About the Youngquist Memorial Golf Classic:
The Youngquist Memorial Golf Classic is named after Ronald Youngquist, the founder of Camp Needlepoint & Daypoint, a residential and day camp for children with type 1 and type 2 diabetes. This is an all-day event where sponsors get to golf, participate in a silent auction, raffles, and a dinner buffet. This event is designed to helps raise awareness, support the programs of the ADA, and build on our mission of stopping diabetes!
Volunteer Positions:
Shift 1 (10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.):
Event Setup (8 Volunteers)
Registration (2 Volunteers)
Bag Check (2 Volunteers)
Shift 2 (12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.):
Course Attendants (~10 Volunteers)
Dinner/Auction Setup (4 Volunteers)
Shift 3 (4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.):
Silent Auction Attendant (2 Volunteers)
Event Clean Up (8 Volunteers)

We are the only organization that also supports health care professionals who deliver the care and the scientist who search for the cure needed by people with diabetes.
