An adult wild parrot in transit after being rescued by SoCal Parrot

SoCal Parrot is a 501(c)3 nonprofit based in Jamul; working to rescue, rehabilitate, and care for southern California's wild urban parrot populations.

We are currently seeking reliable, enthusiastic people for assistance with the rescue and transport of injured or orphaned wild parrots.

This role is perfect for someone who has limited availability and does not mind driving. Rescue calls come in from throughout San Diego, Orange, and Los Angeles Counties. The calls may be from a member of the public, or another rescue organization. We have volunteers in LA and OC who are usually willing to meet at a halfway point, but we need more support in the San Diego area.

All training and supplies will be provided by SoCal Parrot.
