ChickTech is dedicated to retaining women in the technology workforce and increasing the number of women and girls pursuing technology-based careers.

We are looking for a Graphic Designer for our Communication/Marketing team to:

  • Create both digital and print designs including brochures, flyers, handouts, marketing materials, booklets and web-based materials.
  • Retouch photos to provide a high quality content for our social media and digital albums
You have some or all of the below, then we want to hear from you!
  • Excellent ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Relevant work experience with demonstrated understanding of design principles.
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite - Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
  • Strong sense of typography with a clean, sophisticated aesthetic
  • Awareness of current trends and activities in technology, design, and teenagers culture.

Description

ChickTech is a multi-generational community helping each other become technology creators. We facilitate hands-on technology-centric events and mentorship to empower, support, and increase the confidence of girls, women, and non-binary folks. Through our programs, we build community, empower participants to see themselves as leaders, and provide networking and mentoring opportunities in the rapidly growing tech industry.

As a mostly volunteer-run non-profit, we are always searching for partners who would like to get involved through donations of expertise, volunteer time, in-kind, funding, or just by helping to get the word out.
