Special Event Planning Committee Volunteers Needed

Whether you’re an outgoing individual who loves talking to people or someone who’s well-connected in the community... one of UCP’s Special Event Committees could be the place for you!

We are actively in search of additional committee members to assist with the planning and execution of five special events. There are event planning opportunities for all interests including a black-tie gala, walk, sports memorabilia auction, golf, and holiday gift wrap. Tasks include: assistance with overall event planning and logistics, solicitation of donations for live and/or silent auctions, solicitation of sponsors and/or advertisers, follow-up with previous sponsors, pick-up auction donations, and assistance with marketing and promotion.

Your expertise, energy, and ideas are eagerly sought to help us continue the magic and support life without limits for people with disabilities. Please consider joining one of our planning committees. Each committee meets monthly. Committee members may expect to devote 2 - 4 hours per month to committee responsibilities; much of the work may be done via email or over the phone.
