Help a program that supports families in need in the San Jose community by assisting in ESL class and translating handwritten letters from Spanish to English. Translate during programs in downtown San Jose. Please visit www.sundayfriends.org for more information about Sunday Friends. Description
Since 1997, Sunday Friends has provided a safe place where underserved families come together with volunteers in a community setting. Through everyday activities such as cooking, serving meals, writing letters to donors, or making cards for nursing home residents, families practice positive life skills that promote self-reliance and a healthy, productive lifestyle.
