We are a small non profit with big dreams. We have had success with our recent GCJ India 2017, built on the legacy of Nigeria 2005, Ghana 2006, Burundi 2007, Liberia 2010, India 2017. We are now working on Kashmir/India 2018, so timely in this era of rampant Islamaphobia. Join a wonderful group of Global Citizen Journey volunteers. We need help with writing and research, social media communications and some administrative help such as building and maintaining our database. We seek team members who bring creativity and vision as well as energy and skills. This is a great opportunity to collaborate, innovate, and connect with international organizations, individuals and cultures -- all in a spirit of joy, peacebuilding and transformation of self and the world.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to create a living network of ongoing cross-cultural exchange that builds understanding, global connectedness and world peace.
Description
Global Citizen Journey is a visionary and action oriented project that will bring vital energy, support and resources to communities in need --and provide a rich transformative experience for volunteers. The project has multiple purposes: citizen diplomacy, peacemaking, leadership building, environmental activism and service. Journeys bring a group of international participants to join with local participants for a three week residential experience, with half the time spent on the work project (such as planting trees) and the other half in circles and workshops to build relationships and develop skills of communication, compassionate listening and conflict resolution as well as cross-cultural and gender relations.
