We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is excited about heading up the social media initiatives for ChickTech in the Seattle area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Posts as ChickTech Seattle regularly on social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, etc.)
- Posts links to local ChickTech Job board jobs at least monthly
- Ensures posts comply with ChickTech's mission
- Attends events, compiles photos, or ensures live tweeting is delegated for most events
- Regularly meets with Marketing Lead

ChickTech is dedicated to retaining women and non-binary people in the technology workforce and increasing the number of people of marginalized genders pursuing technology-based careers.
Description
ChickTech is a multi-generational community helping each other become technology creators. We facilitate hands-on technology-centric events and mentorship to empower, support, and increase the confidence of girls, women, and non-binary folks. Through our programs, we build community, empower participants to see themselves as leaders, and provide networking and mentoring opportunities in the rapidly growing tech industry.
As a mostly volunteer-run non-profit, we are always searching for partners who would like to get involved through donations of expertise, volunteer time, in-kind, funding, or just by helping to get the word out.
