Program Associates will lead the execution of Program for the "Caribbean American Thirty under Thirty Leadership Initiative." We are looking for a driven Project Managers with Public Relations and Social Media Skills to attract and interact with targeted virtual communities. The goal is to achieve superior customer engagement and intimacy, as well as lead the design and development of the program's marketing and communications including social media traffic by strategically exploiting all aspects of the social media marketing road map designed as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and execution of social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
  • Set up and optimize the Awards pages within each platform to increase the visibility of Award and the CAHM social content
  • Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community.
  • Assist in the design and execution of content e.g. interviews, online webinars, and create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
  • Collaborate with other staff to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions needed to execute the 30 UNDER 30 Caribbean American Changemakers Awards.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in event planning eg student leadership organizations
  • Proven working experience in social media or related field (Twitter Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn, etc
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
  • Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO
  • Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
  • Positive attitude and ability to multitask and work on multiple events simultaneously
  • Fluency in English
  • Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations
  • A commitment of at least three months
