Kitty Save needs volunteers to help make the adoption event a special experience for each family seeking to add a kitty to heart and home. It's actually a fun thing to do!
As a volunteer, you have to do stuff like set up tables and crates, make photocopies, process contracts and release forms, and do errands. But you also get to help adoptive families select the items needed for the new addition to the family. It's called "shopping" and the adoptive families certainly appreciate having a personal shopper on hand!
To make your day even better, you get to love on the kitties so they also have a good experience at the event. You can help ensure them that they are comfortable with no need to be frightened. (Adoption events are scary for some cats.)
Contact us about being a volunteer at our adoption events. We conduct regular events each Saturday and Sunday at the PetsMart in Lewisville. You chose the day(s) you want to help. We just ask that you show up when you promise. We depend on you!
NOTE: We no longer schedule volunteers seeking to meet court-ordered community service hours due to the 99% no-show rate.
